– The membrane does not stain when performing common staining for imaging (i.e., crystal violet).
– Images can be taken without removing the insert from the plate. - Even pore sizes throughout the membrane provide accurate results when evaluating cell invasion.
- Medium can be added to the outer wells without removing the inserts.
- The inserts support and sustain proper solidification of the hydrogel matrices.
