Can I co-stain invasive cells with crystal violet and DAPI?

No, crystal violet staining requires methanol which can interfere with DAPI staining and affect cell imaging. Instead, we suggest combining DAPI staining with phalloidin to visualize both the nuclei and the cytoplasm.
