Can I use VitroGel® for Spheroid Invasion Assay? What is the protocol?

Yes, VitroGel® is excellent for Spheroid Invasion Assay application.
Here are some steps that could be followed:
  1. Add cells to the well plate first,
  2. Centrifuge to make sure cell aggregate at the bottom of the plate,
  3. Try to remove the medium (or in step 1 add as little medium as possible),
  4. Prepare the hydrogel with cell medium (without cells at a 2:1 mixing ratio),
  5. Add the gel to each well (on top of the cell spheroid),
  6. Centrifuge the plate again to make sure the gel and cell spheroid mix well,
  7. Wait for 10-15 min at RT, then add the cover medium.
