How to improve the hydrogel attachment on the cell culture plate/glass bottom well plates?

We recommend using the VitroPrime™ Spread Attach plate, which has a unique surface treatment to address common 3D cell culture issues, including hydrogel floating. In addition, please ensure the hydrogel covers the whole bottom of the well plate instead of adding as a dome shape, which can help to improve the gel attachment.

You can also use the gelatin coating method below to improve the gel attachment:

Use 0.1% gelatin to coat the plate for 2 hours or overnight at 4°C. Remove the gelatin, and then air dry the plate under the hood for 15 min or prepare the dry plate overnight (the last drying step is not required; they can use the plate after removing the excess gelatin).
